GETTING INTO THE WINNER'S CIRCLE workshop is designed to provide tips and guidance to potential contestants from a past winner. Miajah Spriggs won the first place prize in 2019. In 2020, she served as a judge. She understands what judges will be looking for, and as an accomplished writer can help participants think through how to craft their essays with an eye toward walking away with one of the three cash awards.
