About the event
For more than 20 years, jonetta rose barras has been helping girls and women successfully face the challenges of father absence, conducting workshops and coaching sessions in person and virtually. Her book Whatever Happened to Daddy's Little Girl continues to be a primary tool used by researchers and clinicians in understanding and treating the effects of fatherlessness.
She shares her knowledge and expertise, built from deep research and lived experiences, during DAUGHTERS RECONCILIATION CIRCLE. In the 90-minute session, barras explains the concept of self-reconciliation and why participants should embark on that journey as they seek to heal from the adverse effects of father absence.
Women will leave the Circle with a PERSONAL RECONCILIATION AND RESILIENCE PLAN--a customized tool for gaining control over the challenges of father absence while appreciating their own value and power in choosing and directing their destiny--whether in personal or professional relationships.
